Our Organization . . .
The mission of the Carpenter's Fund is to develop the required resources to construct needed physical properties (such as churches, schools, community buildings) to provide centers of worship and/or learning and to improve the quality of God's people in the areas of the world where the means to accomplish such undertakings by the people themselves is not possible.
We are a Christian Non-profit organization that builds or repairs structures in order to facilitate learning and worship. The Carpenter's Fund reviews each and every application submitted. If the need meets the requirements of the mission statement, we consider it for a donation of funds.
We have provided roofs for churches around the United States as well as loaning the initial cost to build a school in Haiti. The fund has most recently purchased a church in Appalachia that is being used as a daycare center.
While the Carpenter's Fund has donated monetarily to several projects and organizations, the group also donates their time. Building churches in Costa Rica, rebuilding efforts with the South Dakota Episcopal Church, projects in Alaska, and mobile clinics in Haiti are some of the projects that are not necessarily funded by The Carpenter's Fund, but have the hard work, love and support of the organization behind them.
